Export SQLite tables while retaining exact values

Keep integer, real, text, NULL and binary values distinguishable.

Do not flatten types too early

SQLite values carry runtime types that can differ from a column’s declared affinity. The exported typed JSON records each value as integer, real, text, NULL or BLOB. Integers are decimal strings to retain every stored 64-bit digit. A long identifier should not become a rounded JavaScript number simply because it is convenient for a JSON consumer.

BLOBs are represented as lowercase hexadecimal bytes, including an empty BLOB as a distinct binary value. NULL is explicit and differs from an empty text string. Those distinctions matter in application state, deduplication and audit work. Inspect representative cells in the table explorer before choosing a downstream representation.

Use CSV with its companion evidence

The export includes a normal values CSV and a matching types CSV for each selected table. CSV alone cannot reliably represent database types, and an empty field cannot distinguish NULL from empty text. Importing the values file without its type context can also strip leading zeros or reinterpret dates and identifiers. The exact typed JSON is the stronger interchange record.

Formula-like strings in CSV are prefixed with an apostrophe to reduce unintended formula execution when opened in spreadsheet software. This is a visible safety transformation, not a byte-for-byte text export. The unmodified text remains in typed JSON. Check the receiving application’s import options and compare counts and important values after import.

Separate data export from database recreation

The ZIP includes source schema SQL as evidence. It can contain triggers, views and other application logic from the original file. Do not execute it blindly or assume it is a ready migration. The package is intended for inspecting and transporting selected data with an explanation of its types and source schema.

Preview filtering only changes what is shown in the browser. The selected table exports include every bounded row in those tables. Use the table checkboxes to choose the intended sharing scope, and review filenames, column names and content before sending a package to someone else. Closing the tab discards the local working model.
